Here is a scripture that is helpful, to me, and has some interesting history in it.
PSALM 133
How good and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in unity!
It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron's beard,
down upon the collar of his robes.
It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forever more.
NIV, Archaeological Bible
NOTE: When oil saturated Aaron's beard and clothing, it was a symbol of total consecration to holy service. Mount Hermon has much precipitation and heavy dew..creating much greenery . However, Mount Zion did not have that, especially during the summer months and pilgramages were made to Mount Hermon....so, therefore, how refreshing is the unity of God's people!
Speaking of LOVING ONE ANOTHER...
Philip and Ella have developed a new bedtime routine. When Ella is in her bed, and we enter in to have prayer and storytime, Philip is now in her bed too! He says so solemnly, "g'night mommy, g'night dadda.." But, do you think they then procede to fall asleep? I think not! We hear delightful little giggles and sometimes a pitter-pattering of feet. This goes on for a few minutes and then we enter in. Then we all say goodnight once more. And the process starts all over again! It is very cute. We don't mind. I hope that they can share a room perhaps soon. Maybe this whole routine will help! They do certainly love each other..through the difficult sharing times even.
